Okay -- so big Disney fan here BUT recently had a terrible experience that has since been reported to Disney and ignored.
Arrived in the afternoon at Hollywood studios and the disabled parking lot is reportedly full so ended up parking on row 44. Row 44 is not serviced by tram so had to walk about 3/4 of mile to the entrance pass the "Preferred Parking" - which had plenty of parking but cost an additional $35.00. As we approached the disabled parking we noticed that there were like a dozen open parking spaces.
We went back got the car and after some disagreeable words with a cast member, proceeded to the disabled parking with the intention of actually leaving the park.
Nevertheless, reported it to Mr. Iger, the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, who sent it to his dominions in Orlando. A Shawn responded and asked me to call. I called twice and left messages and never got a call back. So, people, understand this. You are NOT a GUEST at Disney. You are $$$$ to them and they do not give a crap about you - even if you are an Annual Passholder like we are and have been now for going on three (3) years.
Disney is NOT like it was under Ol' Man Walt and probably never will be - and that is a shame.

McDonalds - 5190 East Moody Blvd
This has got to be the worst McDonalds in terms of service. They are slow and make a lot of mistakes. Wonder if their min wage went up to $15 per hour would the quality of their work get better? Could I DEMAND a higher quality of Customer Service and GET IT!?
Doubt it

Beaver Toyota - St Augustine
What can I say? Be very very cautious with these people. Recently went to them to purchase a pickup truck. Found one that was in good shape and used. Signed an credit application with the understanding that Beaver Toyota would pull a credit report and only one credit inquiry would show up on my credit report. Surprise, surprise!! There were over 8 hard credit inquires made on my credit report without my authorization resulting in my credit score tanking.
Furthermore, they let me take the vehicle home and a couple of days later I returned the vehicle when I was advised that they had been unable to secure credit on the used vehicle. Two days later they showed up on my door step insisting I had purchased the vehicle and that I had to accept it. I told them to get off my property or I would contact the sheriff’s office. During this time frame, NO paper work – other than a temporary tag – was provided to me. No copies of contracts, mileage certification – nothing – as required by Florida Law.
Later I filed a complaint with the State of Florida concerning their sales tactics and the manager responded with outright lies. He reported that they had advised me that they needed copies of my paychecks when I told them from the beginning that I was a 1099 employee. The manager also advised that I was told that a 1099 was not sufficient and as a result the credit application was turned down. His response made it sound like I was complaining about the credit being extended to me for the purchase of the vehicle. That was the furthest from the truth.
In closing – be very, very careful when dealing with Beaver Toyota – St Augustine. They are pushy, overbearing, lying sales people and managers.

Palm Coast Pet Spa
Okay..so we have been using Palm Coast Pet Spa for the last 4 years on our pet miniature schnauzer, Pepper. They have done an excellent job and even Pepper reacted positively whenever we came close to the spa. But the last three times have changed...
When we picked her up her trim was not done according to the directions that were given. They cut her too short - in some cases exposing skin - and made an overall mess of her cut. Worst yet, she was anxious to get back into the car and seem scared of the people at the spa. This was unheard of based on past experience. We complained and were asked to bring her back the next time and it would be free.
So we did. This time the cut was done per request and Pepper's demeanor when we picked her up was more like the old Pepper. S0000 - last week we took her down there again. Her reaction upon arrival was reserve. When we picked her up however, they left virtual bald spots on her left hip and behind her ears. They trimmed her skirt - contrary to directions - and the rest of her trim was uneven.
In general a very poor job. Its our understanding that Linda is no longer there and that it was the co-owner that did the cut. Nevertheless, we will not be bring her back to Palm Coast Pet Spa - even if they offer the next cut free - as that can not be consistent and follow the owner's directions on how they want their dog trimmed.
